Manchester copywriter wins ‘Italian Job’
“Manchester copywriter, global reach” For some years that has been a strapline of Copywriting-On-Demand, with clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. But for some time, currency exchange rates have made the services uncompetitive in a number of markets. Not so now.
“It’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good,” says Len Smith of Copywriting-On-Demand, “and the current decline in Sterling has brought about a rush of work from old clients and new from around the globe.”
In the first two months of this year, an ‘Italian Job’ from a company in the pharmaceutical sector started things moving again, quickly followed by another Eurozone White Paper for a Dublin-based technology company. “By February, I was commissioned by a US multinational to compile another White paper, plus website SEO work for an Australian company and a manufacturing outsourcing company with a base in China,” says Len, “followed by brochure work for a Scandinavian firm. And next month I begin SEO copywriting for a Brazilian website and a Canadian site. Good old internet!”
